In the fall of 2016 she had a mental breakdown steaming from years of repressed emotion from past sexual abuse. From the breakdown she got diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD. After a brief stent in a mental rehabilitation center she found her way back to life with the help of writing and poetry. She included in her healing process the preparation of a book she was would later call “lost girl” a collection of poems and short stories to explain some of the things she was feeling from the abuse she suffered. Lost Girl ; seven is available on Amazon for purchase.
She discovered her passion for helping and giving back when she took a year off college and volunteered with a non-profit called Enjoy Detroit. There she learned leadership skills and compassionate giving. She is passionate about expressing creativity, education and how helping the youth discover their creative side can help them live a prosperous life. She also loves dogs, reading, cooking and relaxing with friends and family.
